The Process
Select from three thoughtfully designed packages — from a single focused chapter to the full definitive portrait. Complete a brief intake questionnaire about your loved one.
We match you with an experienced documentary or broadcast producer in your region. A pre-session consultation call builds rapport and maps the story.
Your producer arrives — to your home, a care facility, or anywhere meaningful — with professional lighting and audio. They know how to draw the story out.
Within 3–4 weeks, your film is delivered as a 4K file, along with a shareable cloud link so relatives anywhere can watch it — yours to keep and copy for generations.

Questions
The Single Chapter is one session of 90 minutes to two hours. The Full Life is two sessions totaling three to four hours, usually on separate days. The Heirloom is three sessions across five to six hours.
Add about thirty minutes on either end for the crew to set up lights and sound, and to pack out quietly afterward.
Wherever the person is most comfortable — their own home, your home, their room or a private lounge at their community, or a place that means something to them.
All we need is a quiet room with a door that closes. We bring the lighting, the camera, and the microphones.
Almost everyone says that. It usually means they're picturing a performance — lights, a script, being judged. What actually happens is a conversation with someone genuinely interested in their life, and most people forget the camera within ten minutes.
The consultation call happens before anything is scheduled, and they're welcome to be on it. If it still isn't right, we don't push, and you don't pay.
No. That's our job, and it's most of what you're paying for. The consultation call is where we learn who this person is and what's worth asking about.
That said, if there are stories the family has heard a hundred times and wants preserved exactly, tell us. We'll make sure they get told on camera.
Yes, and sometimes we'd gently suggest otherwise. People often speak more freely about hard chapters — a first marriage, a war, a parent they struggled with — when their own children aren't listening.
It's entirely your call. Many families sit in for part of the session and step out for the rest.
Three to four weeks after the last session. Every package delivers the full session as a 4K file, color corrected and sound mixed, with a shareable cloud link so relatives anywhere can watch.
The Heirloom also includes an edited 50 to 75 minute feature with one round of revision notes, a written transcript, and a keepsake drive.
Your family does. The files are yours to keep, copy, and share however you like, forever.
We keep a backup for the hosted storage period included in your package, and we never use any part of a film publicly without written permission from the family and the person filmed.
We film people in this situation regularly, and it's worth doing. Sessions can be shortened, broken into shorter blocks with rest between, and scheduled for the time of day he's most himself. A familiar family member in the room often helps.
The honest answer is that sooner is better than later, and it always has been. Tell us where things stand on the consultation call and we'll be straight with you about what's realistic.
A deposit reserves your producer and your filming date. The balance is due when your film is delivered.
Nothing is charged before we've spoken, and if the consultation call makes clear this isn't the right fit, there's no cost.
We're based in Southeastern Pennsylvania and film throughout the region. We do travel further for some projects, and we're steadily adding producers in new areas.
